Jonathan “Jay” Manfre is a regulatory and corporate attorney who has extensive experience and knowledge of the legal and regulatory environment surrounding foods, beverages and dietary supplements. As an attorney, Jay has developed a unique niche within the dietary supplement and food industry and focuses specifically on FDA, FTC, and State regulations that the industry must follow.

Jay has had his articles published in popular print and online health and fitness publications and has lectured on the topic of regulatory law to other attorneys and industry professionals and is recognized as a legal authority in the subject matter. In addition, Jay has co-authored two chapters in a textbook entitled “Handbook of Nutraceuticals and Functional Foods.” As Chief Legal Officer of Redcon1, LLC, Jay brings his expertise in current Good Manufacturing Practices, Standard Operating Procedures, Labeling and Marketing Regulations, and FDA and FTC Compliance to help ensure long-term success.

Jay Manfre graduated Hofstra University with a bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies in Business and obtained his Juris Doctorate degree from New York Law School. At New York Law School, Jay Manfre was a member of the Dean’s Leadership Council and the New York Law School Law Review. Jay is a member of the New York Bar and is Authorized House Counsel in Florida.
